
Daal for rice
<p>A harmonious blend of <strong>multiple lentils</strong> — slow-cooked into a creamy, soul-satisfying daal perfect alongside rice. </p>
Ingredients

Marinate chicken in salt, pepper, red chilli, arad, dhana jeeru, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, chicken spice and 5 spice.
Method

In Instant Pot, add soaked daal with water

Add salt, arad, whole spices and canned tomatoes.

Cook for 20 minutes on high pressure – allow steam to release naturally

In separate pot, sauté onion with whole jeera and ghee, cook marinated chicken.

Add cooked lentils to cooked chicken.

Sprinkle dhania and methi – simmer on low for 30 minutes, before serving.
